We are home and adjusting to life with Madeleine. Adjusting with a capital ‘A’ – the Rocket can be a holy terror when she has a mind to do so, as should be expected of a girl who was yowling even before the surgeon yanked her out of the womb. Sounds like angry hornets she [...] This past weekend was action. packed. what with our baby shower and a birthday party. Pictures are up, but some are available only to friends and family. (Sorry, but it’s for the children, and you should already be signed up on flickr as my friends or family member anyway.) Some more pictures are up, most of the from a recent day trip to Ogunquit. I brought my camera, but cleverly left the CNF card at home – so all these were taken with my iphone. Herself and I took a little vacation, a ‘babymoon’ if you will. Naturally there are pictures. Hopefully – maybe – my picture uploading problems are over. I hope you had all had a lovely 4th of July. Here are some pictures of mine. I have some more recipe annotations to add, but not tonight. I can still post through flickr at least. An awkward way of going about it, but no more so than manually coding with HTML tags. Mostly we are busy unpacking and gallivanting off to the Berkshires and sometimes just lazing about. But I did upload some new photos for your viewing pleasure. Also – if you’re of a cinematic bent, I highly recommend the recently released Criterion Collection edition of The Friends of Eddie Coyle. First, see it for Bob [...] After some gentle – oh, so gentle – prodding, Herself has at last posted her pictures from Paris. There is a subtle, yet recurring motif in her set, as well as a No Prize for the first person to tease it forth. One of my pictures from Paris is now part of the Schmap Paris guide. The official wedding photos are available. The above is just one tiny example of Jeff’s great work. Drop me a line if you’re interested in viewing them and haven’t already got the link and password. Captions are still lacking, but the pictures have all been tagged and added to the map (a flickr feature that the nerd in me loves). Well, we’re back. Stories and such to follow. Maybe. Pictures are up, though they’re a long way from being properly tagged and captioned. Well now, that was fun. And snowy. Both Cass and my sister have pictures of the wedding posted, and I emptied the camera of pictures from the past few weeks of celebrations. We’re off to Paris tomorrow evening. Talk to you in February. |
