Requiescat in pace: Patrick Swayze.
The Bunny likes to give me a hard time because of my fondness for Swayze. I never felt any need to apologize for my appreciation of the man. He made three damn fine B-movies (Red Dawn, Road House, Point Break), a commodity in short supply these recent years. Transformers? That’s what kids get today? I pity them – that shit isn’t even entertaining. At least Roadhouse et al. are fun.
I will always love the SNL skit he did in which he and Chris Farley are auditioning to be Chippendales dancers.
I agree that this is a sad sad day!! I am a shameless fan of Dirty Dancing and any Hollywood star who stays with his wife of many years. You will be missed Mr. Swayze!
