I read this New Yorker profile and thought “Maybe I should try one of Ian MacEwan’s books. Perhaps Atonement.” Still later I found myself wondering if I shouldn’t try Ulysses after all. Could it be my dislike of modernism is misplaced?

I have read Atonement and may i just say that, in my humble opinion, your time would be better spent elsewhere. Just an opinion.
