It is now definite: the Intended and I will be spending our honeymoon in Paris. This is no surprise to those of you who know us; we’ve been talking about going for months. But now theory has turned to reality. Plane tickets have been purchased, reservations made at a hotel in the 7th arrondissement and I’ve been busy reading about Parisian restaurants. I haven’t been abroad in over 15 years, so this is awfully exciting.
Recently I was killing some time looking at pictures of Paris on flickr. For the sake of convenience I was originally planning on bringing just my point-and-shoot. But looking at the lovely images of Paris I started thinking my I should pack the DLSR – if I can get hold of a decent zoom lens.
Absolutely bring your DSLR. You’ll be kicking yourself later if you don’t. Bon Voyage!
