Picture In A Frame
While we’re on the topic of books, and book covers, and illustrations, here’s a few more links for you to peruse.
Sci-Fi-O-Rama: I totally remember this painting as the cover to the novelization of The Gun on Ice Planet Zero.
Cover Browser: oh, this is awesome. For starters, covers of Tintin, Scout and 2000 AD – all staples when I was a kid.
Geeking hard here: does anyone else remember the Terran Trade Authority/Galactic Encounters books? I have zero recollection of the text contents, but I’ve never forgotten the pictures. I’m pretty sure my local library carried at least two of these.
Some extras for you. A brief reminder: Star Wars is not science fiction. Also – nerdbots.
N.B.-I have decided to dedicate this post to my beloved sister, who savors every post.

“Star Wars is not science fiction” – Yeah, I clicked on that link and read a bit and was immediately reminded of that annoying Sheldon character on that annoying (but occasionally funny) tv show called “Big Bang Theory”. The show’s theme song irritates me because it is essentially a poor man’s version of a They Might Be Giants song. Can’t blame the group for not wanting to associate with prime time tv. What was my point? Oh yeah. Stop picking on your sister.
I have no idea who Sheldon is.
Thanks allezoop!! My brother is such a bully!! (: By the way….still savoring!!
A bully? You wound me.
