UCSD has some very cool digital collections. My favorites: a collection of posters from the Spanish Civil War, a photojournalism exhibit – again from the Spanish Civil War, and The Advertising Artwork of Dr. Seuss. Awesome.
The British Library has an online gallery, allowing you to access some very old manuscripts.
