Dance Me In
Posted by The Silver Fox under Slithytoves
Take the right brain vs left brain test by looking at the dancer: does she spin clockwise or counter-clockwise?
Try as I might, I can only see her spinning clockwise, which supposedly means I use more of the right side of my brain. Which makes sense, since I’m left-handed. Right brain functions are listed as:
uses feeling
“big picture” oriented
imagination rules
symbols and images
present and future
philosophy & religion
can “get it” (i.e. meaning)
believes
appreciates
spatial perception
knows object function
fantasy based
presents possibilities
impetuous
risk taking
Hmm, I’m never considered myself ‘impetuous.’ But how did the rest of you fare?

It’s the right-brain/left-brain test. Apparently, whether you see the girl spinning clockwise or counter-clockwise tells which half of your brain you use more. After staring at it for a few minutes, I discovered that I could make myself see her……

I see her spinning clockwise as well, which supposedly makes me right-brained. The left-brain “functions” probably describe me more accurately than the right-brain ones, however (with exceptions). I guess some people just defy categorization…

Clearly counter-clockwise. Why can’t you see that - it’s so obvious. ;]

Heh. I’m confused. When I first looked she was spinning clockwise. Then counterlcockwise. Then clockwise again. She changed 6 or 7 times while I was watching.
This is obviously evidence that I am brainless. :p

Definately counter clockwise and in no way can I get her to spin clockwise.
I’m not sure what that makes me
