Kurt Vonnegut has passed away.
I have never been a huge (or a little for that matter) fan of his works. I do, however, remember reading his short story Harrison Bergeron. It made quite an impression on me as a child in school, even though I didn’t realize at the time that I was reading a prophecy.
Hmm. I’m not sure if I should ask what you mean by “H.B.” being “prophesy”….
I mean, it’s not like “1984″ or anything like that.
Actually, the Vonnegut short that affected me the most is “The Veldt”.
Now THAT I can see as prophesy.
Ooops. “The Veldt” is not Vonnegut at all.
It’s Bradbury.
